Technical specification Concrete roof tile | | Scientifically shaped for rain water flowback prevention
Unlike
ordinary roof tiles, Secoin concrete roof tiles have been designed by
leading Japanese experts with special vertical and horizontal rain
water flowback preventing ribs which effectively stop water from
overflowing through slots of tiles in heavy rain and windy weather.
Vertical water overflow prevention
When the wind blows rain
water vertically along the roof tiles, water will be stopped firstly by
the ribs at the bottom edge of tile, and if water keeps on flowing in,
it will then be absolutely prevented by the ribs at the top edge of
tile. The water preventing ribs also have special effect for preventing
dust and waste.

Horizontal water overflow prevention

When the wind blows rain
water horizontally across the roof tiles, water will be stopped three
times: firstly: by triangle ribs; secondly: by slopy plane, so that
water - if getting in - will flow down onto tile surface and go out;
thirdly: if water is still blowed by very strong wind, it will run into
the final trapezoid ribs and be absolutely prevented.
